Exercise is best in the Morning

Did you know that of people who exercise regularly almost 90% of them exercise in the morning? Recent studies have turned up some interesting similarities from these people.

  • There sleep cycles are much more regular many report not needing an alarm clock to wake up.
  • They have increased energy levels throughout the day.
  • Many also report a greater mental awareness that can last up to 10 hours after exercise.
  • They have regular eating schedules. The early exercise triggers a healthy appetite for breakfast giving the body a good nutritional start.
  • Exercising in the morning interferes less with other activities, such as work, kids, or family events.
  • If you exercise late at night you’ll often find you are tired or distracted from the events of the day, the morning is a calmer less stressful time period.
